White Tea

White tea is the most delicate of all teas as well as the rarest. The leaves that are picked from the plant are at their youngest and most tender state. It's the least processed from all the teas being only steamed and let dry. We like to drink it before bed as it barely has any caffeine and has all the soothing qualities of the other teas. We also like to drink it after a heavy meal as a calmer. If you want to learn more about the process, click here.

Some points to consider regarding white tea:

  1. White is more sensitive to hot water than other teas. If you use boiling water, your tea will come out bitter and taste terrible. Follow the preparation guides on each tea.
  2. This tea is high in antioxidants and has a low level of caffeine.
